Fresh coffee deserves proper storage, and this stainless steel coffee canister has become one of my favorite coffee bar accessories for keeping beans and grounds fresher longer.

What initially sold me on this particular canister was the fact that it comes in multiple sizes — 16oz, 22oz, and 35oz — making it easy to match different coffee drinking habits or storage needs. I also strongly prefer the 304 stainless steel construction over plastic containers. Stainless steel is sturdier, more premium, and does a much better job protecting coffee from light exposure and odors that can affect flavor over time. The airtight seal helps lock freshness in, while the one-way CO2 valve allows naturally released gases from freshly roasted coffee to escape without letting outside air enter the container. That’s an important feature for maintaining flavor and aroma after opening a fresh bag of beans.
